​Normal with any animal, fear, loss of appetite, lack of sleep, heat prostration, and other forms of stress can make a bird susceptible to illness, potentially causing diarrhea, respiratory infection, and a variety of other problems. Exposure to other birds or environmental factors may also negatively affect a bird's health. A bird could change from good health to being ill quickly. Therefore, we ask you to know where an emergency Avian Veterinarian is located near you for your new family members lifetime with you.

When a bird travels and while adjusting to their new home, it is normal for them not to eat for a day or two. Some not all will do this. You can give them pedialyte (clear no flavor) to help with their electrolytes. You can also add Apple Cider Vinegar to their water. This helps with bacteria they can pick up anywhere. Good to have on hand for the life of your feathered family member. 

There is no guarantee on personality or future behavior. Each bird develops into their own personality, we trust you will care and love your new family member to help in this development.

We care deeply for each baby we raise in our home. When they leave there is always sadness and happiness. If you should ever have any questions about your parrot, you can call us anytime.

Each baby develops into their own personality. Babies need a great deal of mental stimulation without it they can develop into a low functioning adult. Lots of play, love and attention is given here at Midnight Parrot Place and should be continued when baby goes home to keep them stimulated and happy :)

Parrots can be really amusing creatures to have in a home. If well trained and looked after, they will live for a very very long time. They are brilliant at learning things quickly which of course, includes mimicking most noises they hear. A few of the breeds are exceptionally good talkers with the lovely African Grey parrot being the best of them. 

We concentrate on hand raising our babies in a loving environment. We are a small hobby breeder we only raise a few precious babies at a time. I take pride in the care of my little ones. Each one has a special spot in my heart. All our babies are treated as our own, involved in daily routines, individually played with and group play.  Our babies are raised for companionship, with lots of love.​
